When SUP surfing, your aim should be to get the most out of each wave. And that means not only positioning yourself on the right part of the wave, but also choosing the right manoeuvres at the right time on the wave. Every wave breaks differently and therefore you need to adapt your riding and manoeuvres to suit each wave. Get it right and you’ll be enjoying plenty of long fun rides. But do you know the difference between a top turn and a cut back? In this video we’re going to be giving a brief overview of some basic SUP surfing manoeuvres… what they’re called and when you’re likely to be doing them on the wave.
